INSPECTION OF EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS
SCI conducts inspections and monitoring of manufacturing equipment and materials, based on the purchase order, requisition of materials, vendor documentation, specifications and project requirements and local and international standards.
TYPES OF EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS INSPECTED
Equipment and inspected materials include mainly, but not exclusively: pressure equipment (columns, heat exchangers, reactors, process furnaces, filters, containers), valves, pipes and fittings required for installation of piping in plants, compressors, pumps, steel structures, engines, cold boxes, electrical equipment and instrumentation, among others.
SCOPE OF INSPECTIONS
The scope of the inspection of the material to be tested can vary depending on the specific point at which the Inspection Points Plan is made; from the start of manufacture (traceability of materials), to performance testing and to final inspection. ACTIVATION SERVICE
